Are we harsh on men?

Now I don’t wanna sound like a dick rider, but let’s be honest.. we can be a lil harsh sometimes, but then again it was only natural for something like this to happen because life is a constant cycle, it’s like this gender war is on a constant seesaw. Unable of ever being on the same threshold it’s always one or the other. I’ve been looking into traditional/biblical femininity vs modern femininity and I feel like I opened a Pandora’s box of sorts due to how many layers there are in that statement alone. Let’s start with biblical/traditional femininity, according to the Bible woman are the glue of the household, the keep everything together and nurture the environment while they’re counterparts are more of the protector and provider, which sounds nice if neither of y’all  don't turn out to be abusive or adulterers, but modern femininity has rejected this idea because of vulnerability, which is a huge part of femininity , it's seen as weak in modern society, a woman being gentle is seen as weak, everything that has to do with being a girly girl is simply weakness to modern society, which in a way I get it. Sadly in many occasions this natural gentleness has been taken advantage of.

 Now let’s dive into modern femininity modern femininity is everything that traditional femininity isn’t , independence is the biggest factor of it. It’s a beautiful thing that as women we’ve advanced so far in our society that we can take care of ourselves, but just like toxic masculinity, toxic femininity is also a real thing, the whole “Niggas ain’t shit” campaign was fun at first but at some point we just become bullies, being mean to men doesn’t make us any better than the toxic men that were saying “bitches ain’t shit” , why do we generalize a whole gender over a few bad apples. 

 Anyways back to the main argument: are we harsh on men? Yes, sometimes. Men like Andrew Tate and Jordan Peterson are simply a response to toxic femininity, neither are good. To be honest I think men truly don’t know their role in life anymore, and in that a lot of them will look at toxic masculine figures to guide them through this confusion. Having an exemplary male figure or female figure is good but we truly have to be careful with that, at least younger people that take things for face value have to be careful, because if you take everything Andrew Tate says at face value, you’ll end up being a little maiden-less menace. 

 So yea it’s this thing where it’s extreme on both ends , it feels like we’re in this huge unending gender war. Even female rap is just a rebuttal to male rap if you really pay attention to it.
